Bearnes have hit the ground running this year in their continued vision to get more active and healthy. First up the whole school took part in The Bodycoach, Joe Wicks’, Fitness Week.
By 10am on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday the whole school were ready and waiting for the 20 min HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) to begin!
Everyone got involved from our Pre Schoolers right up to Year 6 even the staff were working up a sweat!
It is such a great way to start the day and everyone put in 100% effort!

HIIT workouts are a great session to take part in, it has a massive impact on cardiovascular fitness and muscular strength. HIIT sessions can be done with very little to no equipment so it can be done at any time, anywhere. Not only that but it is a great opportunity to release the feel good endorphins into your body!
