KS2 have a had a fantastic science-filled day today. The pupils took part in four different investigations throughout the day all to do with the British Science Week theme: Change.

Activity one involved making rockets which was explosive!

The children also investigated what happens when different ingredients are left out of bread which resulted in some rather odd shaped buns!

Miss Graves showed the children how to make bouncy balls from latex and lemon juice. The children formed the balls in water and learned about particles in solids and liquids. They then went to the playground to test how far their balls bounced.

Our final investigation saw the children making Glorious Goo from cornflour and water – an amazing concoction that is both solid and liquid. All in all an informative and fantastically fun day which saw excellent behavior from all the pupils.
